Sandy Harvath brings over 35 years of insurance experience in her progressively responsible roles at IMA. Currently the president of IMA Select, she is responsible for the region’s overall performance.
Since joining IMA in 2003, Sandy’s customer-first philosophy has helped grow the company into one of the largest insurance brokers in the country. Before moving to Colorado, she worked on the East Coast in risk control, underwriting and marketing with national and regional carriers.
Prior to leading IMA Select, Sandy served as president of IMA’s Colorado market.
Sandy is a Pennsylvania native and received a bachelor’s of science in Safety Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She’s earned the professional designations of Associate Risk Management and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist and is a Certified Safety Professional (inactive).
Sandy thrives on the relationships built through her work and enjoys the ever-changing landscape of the insurance industry. In the community, Sandy has volunteered for several organizations including the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies and Food for Thought, regularly served meals to low-income seniors at Volunteers of America and served as a member of the Arrupe Work Study Board and Board of Trustees at Warren Village, which helps single-parent families achieve self-sufficiency.
